10. Florida Georgia Line - "Sun Daze"
This ranks among the worst singles they've released, if not ever. Even worse, Sarah Buxton co-wrote this with those pinheads. Shame on you Sarah for allowing those animals to help write it. 5 writers couldn't save this song. Booooooo!
Aren't they in their 40s? Trying to keep up with 20/30 year old folk ain't cute and neither was their 2014 CMA performance. A 40 years old drunk is an ugly drunk. Stick to singing "Pontoon". Your career will thank you.
8. Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood - "Somethin' Bad"
This was a horrible choice of song for these ladies. We've heard much better material from them and I'm a fan of them both. Im disappointed in them both.
This song is simply crap. Period.
7. Luke Bryan & Florida Georgia Line - "This Is How We Roll"
The two biggest contributors to the bro-country movement team up for a hot shitty mess of a song & an even worse music video as accompaniment. All 3 of em wrote it with Cole Swindell, which is why I knew I smelled shit a mile away. This song is an Auto-Tuned abomination.
6. Brantley Gilbert - "Bottoms Up"
The Grand Puba of douchebaggery ends up at #6. This song's lyrics and accompanying music video make me nauseous. Girls groping you while you pose like you're in a Tupac video makes you look like an asshole. Go make some real music and leave the tattoos for us country music loving metalheads.
5. Cole Swindell - "Chillin' It"
How does someone who was Luke Bryan's merch boy with the voice of a frog end up making music? This song is terrible in every sense of the word. Stop attempting to sing and go sell t-shirts you idiot.
4. Jake Owen - "Beachin"
Jake tapped into his inner Kenny Chesney for this song. It even got a rap remix makeover. Did he learn anything from Tim McGraw or FGL's mistakes? Godawful indeed.
3. Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore & Thomas Rhett - "Small Town Throwdown"
Good going, Brantley. You've managed the impossible: you wrote a shit song and brought along Justin and Thomas for the ride. You all look bunch of fucking buffoons. Good job you three!!
2. Sam Hunt - "Leave The Night On"
R&B being sung by a former football player trying to break into country music. Need I say more?
1. Jason Aldean - "Burnin' It Down"
This song tops "1994" & "Dirt Road Anthem". This is the sound of a perverted deviant wanting to nail his American Idol mistress/fiancé. I needed a shower after hearing this monstrosity of a song. Florida Georgia Line had a hand in writing this, which was enough to turn my stomach. Auto-Tuned earrape at its finest and has earned the title of THE worst song of 2014.
I can never be objective about these songs. Kelly Clarkson said in an Canadian interview if people got drunk and wondered what they could up with in terms of songwriting. Kelly, does this answer your question?
